Testimonials from individual Cognitive Behavioural Therapy

"Rosie, I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you. You've listened and really heard me and you've equipped me with the tools to cope moving forward. I've really enjoyed the process and feel stronger inside. You've really given me my sense of life back and I'm much more positive about the future."

"Rosie has been really helpful, I don't think I'd be where I am today without her. I can finally calm myself down now instead of having panic attacks everyday. The techniques she taught me have really helped me and I can actually relax now."

"I felt very on edge with 100+ 1 thoughts constantly. Whilst I felt like I knew what might help, I didn't have the confidence or courage to do anything about it all. This was exactly what I needed. Thank you."

"I feel like I have been listened to and understood. I have learnt that I am a real person and I do belong in this world. Thank you for being so caring and helping me understand difficult feelings and emotions."

Testimonials from Youth Mental Health First Aid

"Excellent course, interactive where possible, thought provoking and very professionally and sensitively delivered by both Rosie and her colleague who throughout the course ensured that participants were supported emotionally through some very tough subject matters. Although I am emotionally drained after the 2 days this is evidence to the impact the course has had on me and helped me to reflect on how I might further support young people I am working with and refresh some information that I already had....."

"The course was very informative and the instructors themselves were extremely intelligent and they lead the sessions well. The organisation of the online training was excellent and the best I have participated in! The instructors facilitated the training excellently and created an environment that helped us all build a rapport with one another. This is extremely difficult to do so online, so hats off to them!"

"I found the course really helpful and relevant for my work. It helped me increase my knowledge of mental health issues and how to support children and young people. How Rosie delivered the training and shared her knowledge and own experience was excellent. Rosie was good at supporting us throughout the sessions and offered individual support if needed."

"I found this course extremely difficult from a personal perspective, however, it was by far the best and most rewarding course I have ever completed. Rose was brilliant and very supportive. I would do this course again and again. Definitely recommend to anyone and everyone."

"Excellent course leader - caring, encouraging and supportive, a brilliantly designed course with a great balance of group and self-study and very useful resources. Very good support ahead of the course too. Great to have the handbook and workbook for future reference. They were 2 intense days but made manageable with well-placed breaks and the care from the course leaders. My favourite bit: the self-care homework after day 1. What a nice touch! A massive Thank You to Rose."

"Rosie has a huge wealth of knowledge and experience in this area and the pitch/level of the training was perfect for us. I feel far more confident at the end of the course. The manual initially seemed very daunting but as the training progressed I realised the information and how is was presented was exactly what was needed. There are some excellent external resources that I will use and promote within our own college digital well-being hub"

"This was an excellent and relevant course, it was very insightful & Rosie was good at encouraging full participation and was seamless in delivering in an online format. Rosie clearly has great expertise and knowledge & gave relevant examples in context to help highlight the reality of some of the conditions & how they may present. Rosie has very good and clear presentation skills. The home learning was useful & I liked that it could be flexibility in terms of timing between sessions. I liked the parallel of the physical first aid models which are relatable with the ALGEE a very practical guide for MHFAiders that encompasses many considerations. An enjoyable & informative course, thanks Rosie!"

"Really informative training which not only gave us a wealth of information about mental health conditions also equipped us with skills and resources we can use directly with the young people we are supporting. I really liked how the course had a large focus on the practitioner as well as the clients. This is often not stressed enough in other training sessions I have taken part in and has encouraged me to take more care of my own mental wellbeing to enable me to be able to support young people to the best of my ability. We were able to draw from our own experiences working with young people and Rosie was able to link this back to the varying conditions and appropriate means of support which allowed us to be even more reflective. I feel that I will be able to use my knew knowledge from completing this course immediately in my work with families and young people. An intense course but highly valuable. Thank you."
